School holiday camp in Kuala Lumpur
Spend the school holidays building things instead of scrolling. Our part-time holiday camp at Soho Suites KLCC runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm, Monday to Thursday, for a week: children either get a taste of our Junior Computer Academy, or come with friends and we build the camp around the topics they love.

Two ways to join
A taste of the Junior Computer Academy
Children try a selection of activities from our Junior Computer Academy, the long-term programme for ages 6–15: robotics, block-coded games, Minecraft Education, 3D design, building apps and games with AI and, for older children, first steps in Python. It is the easiest way to see whether the full programme suits your child before committing to a term.
A tailored camp for you and your friends
Bring your friends and tell us which areas you are interested in — game design, robotics, 3D modelling, AI or something else from our programmes — and we build the week around them. Ideal for siblings, classmates or a group of families who want to spend the holidays together.
What children do at the camp
The camp uses the same classrooms, computers and equipment as our regular classes. Activities come from the Junior Computer Academy curriculum, so children work with the real tools our students use during the year rather than a watered-down holiday version.
Depending on the format you choose and your child’s age, the week can include:
- Robotics — building a robot and programming how it moves
- Game creation with MakeCode and Minecraft Education
- 3D modelling and design
- Building simple apps and games with AI tools, and talking about how AI works
- Designing a website or presentation
- First steps in Python for older children
Why a holiday camp at NOVA
NOVA has taught digital skills to children and adults since 2001, in more than 20 countries. In Kuala Lumpur our classes run in small groups of up to 12, with computers provided — children do not need to bring a laptop.
The camp runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm, Monday to Thursday, so children still have afternoons free to rest and enjoy the holidays. Our campus at Soho Suites KLCC is two minutes from KLCC and within walking distance of the LRT KLCC station.
After the camp
Many children want to keep going after a week of building. The Junior Computer Academy (ages 6–9 and 10–15) continues with weekly two-hour classes and a certificate at every level, and the Game Development Program covers Minecraft, Roblox, 3D modelling and game coding over 18 weekly classes. Ask us at the end of the camp which one fits your child best.
