Why NOVA

Why families choose NOVA

We build an environment where learning is exciting and knowledge turns straight into projects.

Since 2001, in 20+ countries

An international network with a proven curriculum — not a school that opened last year.

01

AI-integrated curriculum

Students build real games, apps and 3D worlds with AI tools — and learn to check whether the AI got it right.

02

Teachers from the industry

Every teacher has worked in IT and can explain it to a nine-year-old without losing patience.

03

Groups of up to 12

A maximum of 8 or 12 students per class, so the teacher actually sees each student's work.

04

Real projects and a portfolio

Every level ends with something you can show — a game, a robot, a website or an app.

05

Free replacement classes

Missed a class? Every week there is a replacement session — one-on-one or in a group, at no extra charge.

06

A certificate for every level

It confirms completed training, practical tasks and a project — not just attendance.

07

Kids and adults in one school

A whole family learns in one place, and a teenager keeps going here after 15.

08

“My daughter recently attended the Summer IT Camp Level 1 at Nova Computer Academy in KL, and it was an incredible experience. She learned how to develop software using AI tools and even created her very own RPG game! … The academy itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. This camp has truly sparked a passion for tech in her.”

“After my 10-year-old completed his trial class, I was completely sold on Computer Academy NOVA. The teachers are incredibly supportive, guiding the students through projects step by step, which really helps build confidence. … He’s gained so much more than I expected in such a short time and is already talking about what he wants to make next.”

FAQ
What age can my child start?

From 4 with computer basics, and from 6 with visual block-based coding. There's no wrong age to start — the pace adjusts to your child. Adults are welcome from 15 to 65.

Is any prior experience needed?

No — most students start from zero. Classes begin with visual, block-based tools like Scratch before moving into typed languages.

What's the class size?

A maximum of 8 or 12 students, so the teacher can actually watch each student's work rather than teach to the back of the room.

What if we miss a class?

Every week we run a replacement class — one-on-one or in a group with a teacher, at no extra charge.

How much does it cost?

Kids programmes start from RM 450 per month and adult courses from RM 550 per month. Computer Basics for Kids and Game Development are RM 370 per 4 classes. We confirm the exact price at the free trial class.

Where exactly are you located?

A2-6-3, Soho Suites KLCC, 20 Jalan Perak, 50450 Kuala Lumpur — two minutes from KLCC. We are not affiliated with Nova Academy (nova.edu.my) in Bukit Jalil or any other school named "Nova".

Do we need our own laptop?

No — computers are provided in class. Bring your own laptop if you'd like to continue at home.
