Curriculum

How the course is structured

Classes 1–8 — Minecraft Game Development

Designing and building custom worlds and game mechanics inside Minecraft.

Classes 9–12 — 3D Modelling

First steps into 3D design tools, building their own simple models.

Classes 13–15 — Roblox Game Development

Building a playable game in Roblox Studio, introducing Lua scripting.

Classes 16–18 — Minecraft Coding

Bringing real code into Minecraft to automate and extend what they built.

Does my child need to know how to code already?

No — this course is designed to work with zero prior coding experience, easing into real code by the final module.

Is this the same as your Junior Computer Academy game modules?

No — this is a standalone 18-class course focused entirely on game development across four tools, rather than one part of a multi-year curriculum.

Students design and build an actual robot — either working toward a competition or purely for the interest of building something that moves and responds.

Students build a real website, application, or other software project of their own — a place to keep creating outside the structure of a regular course.
